What we collect
We practice data minimization — we only ask for what an event actually needs.

How we use it
We use your information to run the tournament you registered for: confirming entry, managing rosters and the waitlist, checking teams in on the day, and emailing you about that event. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside running the event.
The emergency & medical fieldset
The emergency-contact and medical fields are optional and handled with extra care. They are stored encrypted, visible only to the tournament director for that specific event, used only for on-site safety, and not published anywhere. This is separate from the roster and from anything public.
Ages 18 and up only
VolleyballGA divisions are for players 18 and older, and every captain affirms this at registration. Because no minors register, we do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information, and no minor is named anywhere on this site. Public standings show adult team and player names only.
Email & text messages
Registration confirmations and event updates come by email. Text-message updates are opt-in only: you are texted about schedule changes only if you check that box at registration, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. We never text a captain who has not opted in.
Payments
Entry-fee payments are processed by Stripe, our checkout provider. Your card details go to Stripe directly over their secure checkout — they never touch our systems, and we never see or store a card number. Refunds follow our refund & cancellation policy.
How long we keep it
We keep registration records for as long as needed to run the event and the series it belongs to, and to meet basic accounting and dispute requirements. The optional emergency and medical details exist to support the day of the event and are not retained beyond what safety and record-keeping require.
Questions or a request
To ask what we hold about your team, correct it, or have it removed, reply to your registration confirmation email with your team name and the event. VolleyballGA is a local, family-run tournament series in the Georgia / CSRA area, and a person reads those replies.
